‍ ‍

I was born and raised in Wales and studied at the University of South Wales (formerly the Glamorgan Centre of Art & Design), graduating in 2007 with a First-Class BA (Hons) in Animation.

After refining my craft at Bait Studio as a moving-image artist and director, I began freelancing internationally — first in Sydney with studios such as Sixty40 and Mighty Nice, and later in London with BBC, Electric Theatre Collective, Nexus Studios, Netflix, and Passion Pictures.

Those years shaped a practice built on story, tone, and atmosphere, across screen, sequence, and large-scale live visual environments.

Today, my focus lies in conceptual title direction and cinematic visual development: defining how a story feels before production begins.

I work with directors and creative teams to create title and ambient sequences, tone boards, live visual systems, and visual-language frameworks that give each project its emotional and aesthetic identity.

Alongside studio work, I continue to draw and photograph, slow, observational practices that keep my design rooted in the fundamentals of light, rhythm, and composition.

That quiet discipline feeds directly into the way I design motion: measured, coherent, human.

I’m always open to conversation and collaboration with filmmakers, live artists, and studios who value concept, taste, and emotional truth in visual storytelling.
